At Desert Valley we hope to provide an environment where kids can meet Jesus and grow to love Him.  Join us at Sabbath School or Pathfinders!


Growing Together Curriculum

The Sabbath School Lessons are introduced each Sabbath during the worship service in the Children's Feature.

Pathfinders are encouraged to keep working on the AY classwork during the summer months.  We will start up again this fall.

Investing in our future

In our Kids Ministry, our mission is to help kids find their way back to God, connect with others, and contribute to changing the world. We believe that kids have the capacity to walk intimately with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through Bible stories, songs, and crafts.

Who's Involved?

Every Sabbath morning we provide a safe environment for kids from birth through fifth grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other.


Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love on kids each week! Every volunteer who leads in the Kids Ministry has had a background check and is committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your kids.


"Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court."

How should I prepare my kids?

Each Sabbath, you will need to check your child into our Kids Ministry. Either a wristband will be filled out by parents or parents will be asked to Check-In on the computer and print out a name tag and a claim tag will be given or printed for parents to present at Check-Out. Both formats will include your child’s name as well as information regarding specific allergies. From there you will walk them to their age-specific classroom. When you return at the end of service you will Check-Out your child by signing them out or checking them out on the computer and then handing the claim tag to the teacher.
